Simon D reflected on his first trip with best friend and Super Junior member Kim Hee Chul.
A production presentation for Olive TV′s MAPS was held at the Stanford Hotel in Seoul′s Sangam-dong on June 26, where Simon said, "I′m close with Heechul hyung. I started this per Heechul hyung′s suggestion."
Simon D recounted the trip, saying "The staff tricked me by saying we were going on a trip. My body and heart suffered, but for better or worse, it wasn′t the worst."
He then added, "It was our first trip together, but I don′t plan on going on another trip together."
"A really nice program cast two bad boys," continued Simon D. "The program adjusted to our personalities. Throughout it, I got really mad and upset about a lot of things, and it was difficult because I was in pain. I was looking forward to receiving healing on the trip, but it half killed me."
However, he concluded, "As much as my body was in pain, my eyes were happy. It was a good memory."
MAPS is a new road reality show with the premise of ′slow traveling,′ under 40 km/h to be exact, as a means to discover things often overlooked in the hustle and bustle of life. Actress Choi Kang Hee will team up with Girls′ Generation (SNSD) Yuri and Super Junior′s Kim Heechul with Simon D and travel Jeju Island for three nights and four days in a street view car on a healing trip. The first episode will air on June 28 at 9:40 p.m. KST.
