The music video teaser for Super Junior‘s Ryeowook‘s solo mini album is out. The album, titled “The Little Prince,” is composed of six tracks, with “The Little Prince” as the title song. One of the songs included in the album is titled “Poom,” and the lyrics are composed by Ryeowook himself. This song’s story is written from the perspective of a son, who loves his mother but has trouble expressing it. Rapper DinDin features in the track “Foxy Girl,” a medium-tempo dance track. Other songs in the album are “Like a Star,” “Hello,” and “People You May Know.”

On January 23’s episode of “Same Bed, Different Dreams,” Super Junior‘sRyeowook talks about the group’s tendency to wink when they’re performing, while TWICE‘s Nayeon and Dahyun show off the power of their aegyo! The main guest on this episode is a woman who has been working as a singer at local events for 15 years but hasn’t yet achieved fame. Yoo Jae Suk asks Ryeowook if he has any complaints about doing such festivals. “We don’t do many events right now, since many of our members are in the army,” Ryeowook explains. “But everyone in our group is now an expert, so we really overdo it with winking. Sometimes even in one song, everyone will wink. It’s not good!” He then imitates how they all wink, which cracks everyone up TWICE’s Dahyun admits that she does this herself, as she always winks during one of her parts. She shows off her wink, and everyone laughs and claps in appreciation of how cute it looks. Yoo Jae Suk then asks Nayeon to show off her own aegyo, and it’s decided she should give Ryeowook a wink. Ryeowook gets so embarrassed after she winks at him that he just covers his face in his hands and smiles! Nayeon then shoots a wink at Norazo member Jo Bin, who laughs happily in response. But everyone’s surprised by Seo Jang Hoon‘s cool reaction when Nayeon shows him her aegyo.

The Super Junior member, who is making his solo debut after 11 years since debuting in 2005, will be performing on Mnet M! Countdown on January 28th with his title track “The Little Prince.” Following his M! Countdown stage, he will continue promotions with performances on Music Bank on the 29th, Music Core on the 30th, and Inkigayo on the 31st. According to multiple music officials on January 5th, Ryeowook is scheduled to release his album sometimes this month where he will then set out to follow solo activities. On the morning of January 5, an industry insider told the media that Ryeowook’s first solo album will go on sale sometime this month, and that he will be participating in promotional activities. In response, SM Entertainment confirmed that Ryeowook is currently preparing his album, and that he will be promoting it. However, an official date has not been decided. “We will announce the date when we’ve finalized it,” the statement said. Ryeowook announced the album himself in an interview last month, though at the time very little was known about when fans could expect his solo debut except that it was sometime in 2016. It was also heartwarming to see the members being supportive of their fellow member’s new endeavor as an actor. On November 24, a fan posted a tweet advertising that they were giving away their ticket to the play “The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time” on November 29. Ryeowook is scheduled to play the lead role of “Christopher” that night. The fan continued to write that their mother, who lives in China, was seriously injured, and that they are returning to China immediately. On the November 25 episode of “Friends in Switzerland,” Super Juniormembers Leeteuk and Ryeowook hilariously get lost on the highway. Sightseeing in Lucerne is one of the things on Ryeowook’s bucket list, so he and Leeteuk take a rental car and follow the production team in a car of their own. After being on the highway for a while, the two get a phone call, and realize the car they’d been following wasn’t them at all! Not only that, but even after they catch up to the team, they realize that they’ve been driving in the wrong direction the whole time. Though they try to correct themselves, the GPS doesn’t work in the mountains, and they end up taking an extra two hours to get to Lucerne.

On November 6, it was announced that SM has established a new label exclusively for Super Junior called Label SJ. SM stated, “We established Label SJ to give Super Junior our wholehearted support and an ideal system [for managing the group].” Though the new label will be affiliated with SM, it will be independently and wholly responsible for Super Junior’s management, producing their albums, and all group, unit, and individual activities. Meanwhile, Super Junior is celebrating their 10th anniversary today, having debuted in 2005 with “Twins (Knock Out).” Over the last decade, Super Junior has set many record landmarks, including 120 concerts and over 1.8 million concert attendees in 27 different cities across the globe.
